Ways to book
Ways to book:
We offer face to face appointments and telephone consultation appointments. Morning appointments can be booked from 8am.
Urgent but NOT life-threatening
You can call on the day after 8am for a same day appointment by phoning 020 3714 6868. We will endeavour to give you an apoointment at the GP surgery either face to face or telephone appointment.
Please note you may be signposted or offered an appointment with the extended access service, NHS 111 or urgent care services.
Life Threatening - Go to A&E
Call 999 or go to A&E now if:
- you or someone you know needs immediate help
- you have seriously harmed yourself – for example, by taking a drug overdose
A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency.
Sickness Certificates (Fit Notes)
You must give your employer a doctor's 'fit note' (sometimes called a 'sick note') if you've been ill for more than 7 days in a row and have taken sick leave. This includes non-working days, such as weekends and bank holidays.

Home Visits
If you are feeling unwell and are unable to get to the surgery, telephone the surgery on 020 3714 6868 and request a home visit before 10:30am.
This way the doctor can plan their day's workload accordingly. The receptionist on duty will ask you some details to help the doctor assess the urgency of the visit. The doctor will then telephone you to discuss the problem and at this stage arrange a home visit time if appropriate.
Please only request a home visit for genuine reasons not convenience or transport.
Change or cancel an appointment
Please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer your appointment to someone else.
To cancel your appointment:
- Use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- Cancel using the GP online system
- Phone us on 020 3714 6868
- Reply CANCEL to your appointment reminder text message

Need to see a GP but can’t get an appointment? Our GP Hubs can help.
Call NHS 111 before you go to pre-book an appointment or wait to be seen without an appointment at one of our GP Hubs in Central Croydon, Purley, or Parkway.
Life Threatening
Call 999 or go to A&E now if:
- you or someone you know needs immediate help
- you have seriously harmed yourself – for example, by taking a drug overdose
A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency.
Urgent But Not Life Threatening
Visit an urgent care centre if:
- You have an urgent medical issue requiring on the day attention
Non-urgent
Use NHS 111 if:
- You need help now, but it’s not an emergency
There will be someone to provide you with advice and to direct you to a clinician if it is necessary.
